Ahh, Friday! Fridays are so relaxing...well, once I actually get home from school! After a long week of arguing among our little group, (sorry about that guys!) we finally settled everything with Six Little Curly Fries. Originally, our blog was going to be on Live Journal, we set it up and made the first collaborative post, when most of us decided that we really didn't like live journal. Yesterday, Lynda had to change the entire thing over here to Blogspot. We all seemed to be content with the new set up and Lynda was able to write her first post. Today House will write and tomorrow Virgil is up.
Another reason why I TGIF is because I got my NLE score today!!!! NLE, or National Latin Exam, is a test that is taken nationally (no kidding) around December...I think, I don't even remember. Anyway, these are 40 multiple choice questions that analyze one's Latin ability. Of the six curly fries, four of us take Latin. Carrie got a 31/40 (I think, correct me if I get any of these wrong), House got a 39/40, I got a 39/40 (and the one question I got wrong was really, really stupid), and of course, our amazing Virgil got 40/40, a perfect! I mean what else can you expect with a name like Virgil? Anyway, we all did splendidly well! Of all the 8th grade Latin students at our school, Virgil and House's boyfriend were the only ones to get perfects!
In addition...today there is perfect weather (it's very odd, I am a bit worried). It's a full 80 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny with blue skies and not a cloud in sight. I get to spend it playing a soccer game...! Normally I would be sad about this, but this occasion is special, we are playing a team with a girl that used to go to our school, which should be fun. We don't really like her, that's why it'll be fun.
That's about it, happy Friday everyone!
